calm down, i'm not that bad am i?

The BF was sick all last week with a nasty cold which led to the bronchitis he has now. Fortunately he's feeling a heck of a lot better, but still has a small cough. Anyway... the entire time he was sick, I wanted to make things easier on him. He was stuck in bed for a couple of days with really nothing to do but watch TV (not that he doesn't love TV), but to make things worse the TV schedule was just horrible! It seemed like every channel he turned to had absolutely nothing decent on to watch. Finally, he resorted to putting on a movie we had lying around the house.

Besides trying to make his in-bed experience better (boy that sounds dirty; it's not meant to be) I wanted to make things easier on him when we had to run a few errands - so he wasn't getting off the hook entirely. I figured I would be nice and decided that if we wanted to go out anywhere, I would drive. 

Now, I never drive - I hate driving! I've had my license for about 5 years now, but I only drive when I have to; for instance, if the BF has a few drinks at the bar, of course I drive (neither of us are that stupid)! But like I said, this week was different since he wasn't feeling well. Unfortunately though, this is what I had to deal with the entire time I was driving last week:


Okay, maybe I exaggerated the situation a little bit, but I guarantee you that's what he was thinking. And either way I'm seriously starting to believe that he really doesn't like my driving...

    bhahhaha no joke, that is EXACTLY how my boyfriend acts when I drive. Idk why though, I mean... I drive like an old lady! I go the speed limit, I brake early, all that mumbo jumbo. But apparently thats not good enough haha!

    Oh that sucks he has bronchitis. That sounds awful and that's funny about you driving. I love to drive for some reason, I trust myself more than a lot of guys I know. haha, I'm sure they'd hate that. Hope he feels better and you're a good gf.

    I hate driving so much that I've managed to put off my license for an entire year. My parents are still pressuring me though.

    My boy had tonsillitis+laryngitis+bronchitis last week so I was doing the looking after as well. I have now become sick in the last couple of days so it's his turn to look after me.

    I have the opposite in my house...I do most of the driving, so when my husband drives I am the one with the eyes closed so as not to continually gasp in fear..and he's not a bad driver...I'm just a control freak ;)
