If you don't know already, I'm a cookie monster! I love all types of cookies and I don't go a day without thinking about them. I know that's pretty sad, but it's very true. If I don't think about cookies, I think about chocolate which in the end leads me to chocolate chip cookies - they're obviously my fave.
The past week, I've been craving chocolate more than usual (gee, I wonder why). So I picked up a box of chocolate chip cookies and put them in the shopping cart while the BF wasn't looking. We got home, unpacked all the groceries and that was when he finally realized that I had bought an entire box of cookies for myself - I really wasn't planning on sharing. That night went by... I had two cookies. The next night went by... I had three cookies. The next night, I told myself that I needed to lay off the cookies for a night. Well, they were staring me right in the eyes! They looked so tasty...
I forced myself not to give in to those beautiful, delicious cookies. Fortunately, for once, it actually worked - I didn't have a single cookie, but boy were they in trouble last night!
That's right! I nommed on not just one, but three absolutely delicious chocolate chip cookies! .....And boy did I enjoy it!

to try something new
The other night I thought it would be fun to take up a new hobby. I wanted to make myself a bikini! I told you I was addicted!
Never in my life have I sewn before, nor did I have any idea what goes into making a bathing suit - All I knew was that I was on a mission: make myself a bikini. Instantly I started to research what exactly I needed; what kind of fabrics, how much of it, what kind of thread, etc. The next morning, I got up and rushed out the door to Jo-Ann Fabrics. An hour later, I returned home with some supplies that included some black nylon/spandex fabric, some leopard print polyester fabric, rubber linings, and some hot pink thread. I thought this thing would look awesome! I was so excited when I got home, I just couldn't wait to start on it!
I took all the fabric and thread out of the bag and started drawing out a template for the bikini bottom. I tried to copy the bottom of one of my other bathing suit bottoms, but when I did it ended up looking like it was wayy too big for my butt. I got so frustrated after 10 minutes, that I gave up! Yes, I gave up!
I know, I know... You're thinking how in the world did she think she'd pick up sewing in 10 minutes? Well, I didn't, but I'm crazy, so I thought it would be a simple task without knowing anything about sewing. I WAS WRONG! My problem?... I have no patience. The BF thought I was out of my mind the whole time, but he went with it anyway. I knew he was right the whole time, but I don't admit stuff like that. I was crazy to think I could sew my own bathing suit, let alone pick up sewing and be good at it within 10 minutes. How ridiculous, right?! So, the next day we went back to Jo-Ann Fabrics and returned everything. MISSION: FAILED!, but I'll tell you one thing.... it felt damn good getting that $40 back!
Unfortunately, I don't learn from mistakes like this one.... I actually do this quite often. If you're following me, you'll quickly see how often I do this and how often I fail! Eww - I hate that word!

i fell in love.
Ever have one of those nights where you're looking for something, but not sure what it is? Well I have those nights all the time! I spend hours on the internet with absolutely nothing in mind, but I end up unexpectedly finding some really great things.
The other night I stumbled on: LemonKissed on Etsy!
I had nothing in mind that I was searching for, but when I found this store, I fell in love! The pieces of jewelry created there are just beautiful. Now, let me just say that I am not the type of girl to wear dangly earrings... I'm more of a stud kinda girl, but I think I need to make an exception after seeing these.
MUST HAVE!
I just find them so adorable & they'd be perfect for summer. New addiction?! Uh oh!

i heart bikinis
I have a serious swimwear addiction, specifically bikinis. A girl can NEVER have enough swimwear! Now that the warm weather has finally graced us with its presence here in NJ, I've finally take out part of my collection. I have 15 bathing suits just in my room and tons more still waiting to get out of the summer boxes that were put away for winter. The BF constantly makes fun of me for having too many bathing suits especially since I can never decide which one to wear! I always had bad self-esteem growing up and would never wear a bikini or even a bathing suit for that matter - I was always that girl with the board shorts and t-shirt, but now I am an addict. Now, I spend sooo much time online looking for bikinis and new swim shops/boutiques. I'm very picky with bathing suits; they need to meet specific criteria in order for me to purchase.
It needs to fit! I HATE when stores sell swimwear "sets" - WTFF?! ... Not all girls can fit into those! Some have big @$$, small b00bs...... others vice versa (big b00bs, small @$$). Ughhh that's just so frustrating. How can you sell a $180 swimsuit as a set and not give us the ability to choose separately WHAT FITS?!?!?
Anywayys.... I MUST have this!
